This Quesnelia will grow in full to partial sun. Plants grow about 18 inches tall, with solid green leaves that are tipped by a sharp spine. Long-lasting, cold-hardy, and beautiful! What more could you ask for?

This is a Chorisia (now Ceiba) hybrid combining C. speciosa, C. chodatii, and C. insignis. The flowers open bright yellow, then fade to a cream color with maroon eye in the center. They seem to have a much longer bloom period than the pink species. The yellow is still blooming in January.
