Creature Feature - Oak Timberworm

This weird looking bug was hanging out on a banana leaf.  Before you start thinking "That doesn't look like a worm", this is the adult stage.  In the larval stage it is a worm-like wood borer.

I hope someone can tell us because that one is too cool! It reminds me of a weevil I once saw...

I'm thinking its an Oak Timberworm (http://bugguide.net/node/view/114669/bgimage) - member of the Family Brentidae (Straight-snouted or Primitive Weevils)
