  1. Hi Jim,
Wonderful blooms. Is the Bahunia a tree or a plant. I am trying to find seeds of this plant but am unable to get it here.

  2. Natti: The Bauhinia pictured is B. galpinii. It is a large sprawling shrub.

  4. Quite a collection of blooms as usual, some I am not familiar with at all. I guess I'll be doing some reading. I'm quite envious of your banana bloom. I'm still hoping to get one someday.

  7. Thanks Jim,
You have so many varieties of flowers in your garden. Almost like a horticultural park. How big is it and how do you manage to maintain all this yourself.

  9. Hi, Jim. I really like the way you displayed your blooms in color categories...like a rainbow! I'm also amazed that you have bananas. Mine have really been taking their time this year...they're finally reaching the 6' mark. This time last year, I had several banana boots on 12-15' stalks. They hate the cold, don't they? Mine are definitely rebelling against last winter.

  10. What a variety of blooming plants you have. That cestrum is a real beauty that I must look for. I saw a few others I'm not familiar with and will be checking them out, too.
