Persian Limes and Key Limes are also ready in large quantities, as well as a few Limequats.
The Pineapple harvest continues and I look forward to slicing into each and every one!
A double-header! |
I'm also picking a few Elderberries, Glycosmis, Cattley Guavas, Passionfruit, and Cereus fruits.
The fall vegetables are growing but haven't started producing yet. There is still plenty of Okinawa Spinach as well as Basil, Mint, and Cuban Oregano.

Your harvest is bountiful and fantastic. I made a starfruit pie once, delicious. Key limes are great for margaritas, :-) and key lime pie.

What a lovely sounding harvest. It's very different from my own but I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteLove the harvest. I always drool over the tropical fruits since I can't grow them here. Fresh pineapple is such a treat.
ReplyDeleteYum.....starfruit....and limequats? I'm always learning something new about citrus around here....I'm working with a calamondin now and look forward to seeing how this citrus turns out. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou must be in the peak of health with all the fruit you have available right in your garden. I think star fruit on the tree look like little laterns, especially when the sun shines through them. Enjoy your bounty.
ReplyDeleteGosh Jim, you have so many cool things in your Florida tropics. I am struggling just to have a cantaloupe or two. Ah well, I can visit and dream. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYum so many things you could do with that bountiful harvest. I like sweet sour fruit. Always eat them with soy sauce mix with prawn paste, chilies, sugar and salt.
ReplyDeleteJim, as usual, you have quite the beautiful harvest! Your carambola looks delightful. I wish I had space for this tree, but I'm all filled up. A coworker brings bags of them to work. I love them!!!
