Harvest Monday - December 2010
Most of the time I harvest fruit as I'm ready to eat it, so this month I'm showing the harvest as it looks while still in the garden. To see what other gardeners are harvesting, see Daphne's Dandelions blog.
Oh how beautiful to be living in your farm Jim. They are so healthy looking and looks very delicious. Aside from getting the seeds for sale, what do you do with the flesh of your harvest? And how many helps do you have there! I love the colors of your citrus too, which we dont normally get here because of the higher temperatures.
Andrea, a lot of the fruit is consumed fresh. I also sell some and give some away. I do all of the plant care by myself. The citrus colors will get even more intense as the season progresses.
Wow that is a lot of fruit. I think I could feed my whole neighborhood with that. I tend to eat more vegetables than fruit, but if I had your yard, it would be the other way around.
What a great diversity of citrus fruit you have (and others too!). Totally jealous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful citrus & fruit....I am jealous too!!
ReplyDeletewow what a beautiful variety! Wish I could grow half of that stuff!
ReplyDeleteI'm the third jealous person :-)
